Our kennel consists of three dogs; Casey, Blaze and Riley.
Casey is our oldest dog at 10 yrs. She's a loving dog with a great nose. She is a great marking dog and loves the water. In the field she does not stop working. She is retired now from field trials but still hunts hard. She is a very biddable dog and everyone that meets her loves her. At 10 yrs old she will still retrieve a ball all day long.
Riley is Casey's daughter. She is a fun dog. She loves the water and is very fast. She is hunted over a lot and is a great marking dog. She never gives up. Due to my work schedule and the boys soccer I haven't had the time to get her titled but I can tell you that she is a great field dog. Very biddable and has a great nose. She takes after mother when it comes to marking. It's a shame I didn't have the time needed. That is her jumping off the dock.
Blaze is our only male. He is a hard charging male with a great water attitude. He loves to run blind retrieves. This year he will have over 200 retrieves during the hunting season, in types of environments, (lakes, rivers, bays, fields, marsh) in all types of weather (rain, snow, ice, heat) retrieving all types of game, (ducks, geese, pheasants, chukar and quail). He has one of the best personalities I have ever found in a golden. He is just a great dog.
All of my dogs can do a days work in the field and on the water but when the fun is over they return back to the homebodies and family dogs that make them a complete golden.
